1. OVERVIEW

The Elise Handmade online store (the "Site") is operated by Ardent Censer LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. By visiting the Site or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to the policies linked from them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept them.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase. Users under 18 may only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. OUR PRODUCTS

Elise Handmade sells digital crochet patterns delivered as PDF downloads. No physical goods, yarn, materials, or finished items are sold or shipped. Photos show finished items made from the patterns; your result may vary depending on your yarn, hook size, tension, and experience.

It is your responsibility to check the skill level, stitches, terminology (US or UK), and materials listed in each product description before buying. We may modify or discontinue any pattern at any time.

4. PRICING AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown in United States Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. Changes do not affect confirmed orders. Payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers; we do not store full card details. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example in case of pricing errors or suspected fraud.

5. REFUNDS

Because our products are digital files, all sales are final, except in the limited cases described in our Refund Policy.

6. PATTERN LICENSE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All patterns, text, photos, charts, and branding are the intellectual property of Ardent Censer LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright.

When you buy a pattern, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use. You may:

Make as many items from the pattern as you like for yourself, as gifts, or for charity.
Sell finished items you make by hand from the pattern in small quantities, provided you credit Elise Handmade as the designer.

You may not:

Share, resell, copy, upload, distribute, or give away the pattern file or any part of it, in print or digitally.
Translate, rewrite, or republish the pattern as your own.
Use our photos to sell your finished items.
Mass produce items from the pattern for commercial sale.

Unauthorized use may result in loss of access to the Site and legal action.

7. USER CONDUCT

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, interfere with its operation, impersonate others, or post harmful or abusive content.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Our patterns and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make our patterns accurate and clear, but we do not guarantee that they are free of errors or that your finished item will look exactly like our photos. If you find an error, please tell us and we will correct it.

Finished items made with small parts, such as safety eyes or buttons, may not be suitable for babies and young children. You are responsible for the safety of anything you make.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ardent Censer LLC and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our patterns. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ardent Censer LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of our patterns.

11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

12. PRIVACY

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction in Wyoming. Claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class action.

14. SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Ardent Censer LLC.
